Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clara
Female
House trained
Seldom seen without a happily wagging tail, cheerful Clara is cherishing her second chance at life and love!
Initially shy in new surroundings, she swiftly warmed up to her foster mom, and now she not only loves her, she loves being petted and readily responds by giving her kisses. But her devotion doesn’t stop there. Clara revels in following her around like the friendliest, most faithful doggy shadow.
Easygoing and eager to please, she enjoys engaging with everyone, including adults, children and cats, and while she gets along well with the resident dogs, she hasn’t yet played with them. She hasn’t yet shown any interest in toys and doesn’t like car rides, but what she does like is turkey and cheese, considering them treats, and accepting them gently.
Although she appears to know no commands and isn’t leash trained, she responds to her name and is at work on jumping up less in excitement when her foster mom returns home.
With much still to learn and much love to share, Clara will benefit from a nurturing home that will continue her socialization with other dogs, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her tail wagging happily fur-ever.
Clara is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Clara, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly.
