Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zelda #9617 is a gorgeous 1 and ½ year-old Shepherd mix. Zelda is a very social and friendly gal, She is house and crate trained. She goes to the door to alert when she needs to go out. Her foster says she knows the commands wait, sit, come, paw, stay and lay down. She loves going on walks and is working on leash etiquette. She will sleep in her crate. She loves the kids in her foster home ages 6 to 10. She is working on not jumping up to meet new people. She should not be in a home with cats, she will chase. She is curious about other dogs and we recommend a meet and greet if there is an existing dog at home. She rides well in the car and loves the snow. She weighs 75 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks, so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups, should be on heartworm preventative; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you are interested in adopting this dog, and are already approved to adopt through our organization, please contact dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with the pup’s name and ID number in the subject line.
