Summer was kept outside in a rusty cage her whole life in South Korea! Our rescue team convinced the owner to surrender the rest of her siblings last year, but he wanted to keep Summer so he could sell her to the dog meat trade! Our team did not give up and finally he surrendered her! She is a sweet girl who gets along with other animals. While she is a bit fearful of humans (as they've only ever let her down before!) she is trying her best to learn to trust, and always approaches with all the bravery she can muster and a wagging tail.
Summer deserves the best life! She will need a patient home who is willing to show her how great having pawrents can be! She will be boarding her freedom flight to LAX in July when she completes her Heartworm treatment.
