Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shy, sweet, affectionate and gentle, Mona is a 1 yr 3 mo petite, purebred yellow lab weighing 45 lbs. She is fully trained (leash, crate, house and invisible fence) and knows all the basic commands (she is a smart cookie!). Her favorite place to be is right next to you, either on the couch with her head on your lap (so you can scratch her ears), or at your feet while you are trying to cook (waiting to catch some crumbs). Mona can be a bit reserved and cautious upon an initial meeting but once she trusts you (a bribe with treats will always help) she will be your BFF. Mona is like the bashful gal in high school, just waiting for the opportunity to shine and surprise everyone with her solo in the end-of-the-year concert. Mona is currently living with an older lab sibling, and would benefit from a confident (dog) brother or sister who would help her find her courage. And like all Labs, Mona is smart, athletic, playful and even-tempered. Potential owners should ideally work from home and be calm, understanding and encouraging. No apartments or children under the age of 8 for this loyal and lovable sweetheart.
