Sweets is on the emergency placement list due to medical reasons. She initially presented with stomatitis and has lost a significant amount of weight in the shelter. She has also developed a severe URI with possible secondary pneumonia. Her appetite has been spotty, but she has responded well to supportive care. She will need to receive continued supportive care and antibiotic therapy with placement. Behaviorally, Sweets is very affectionate and allows medical handling except for oral examination.
