Snacks has golden eyes that cut deep into your soul. She is smart, soulful, and so full of love. She has never had her shot at a forever home, and all she wants is a human to snuggle up to. She knows every trick in the book, and always wants to learn more. Snacks has worked with a professional trainer, and I’ve been training her consistently. She knows sit, stay, down, off, come, leave it, heel, etc. Her trainer has even offered 3 free sessions to her adopter! She’s INCREDIBLY smart and loves learning new tricks.
She is shy with new people and has only ever lived in a no-kid no-pet house, so I think she’d do best with no young kids. She does not enjoy people coming up to her space she doesn’t know well, but once she’s comfortable she is a Velcro dog.
She would do best in a home with a couple with no kids or pets so she can focus on napping and snuggling all day. She loves to sunbathe, so a yard is a bonus but not a must have.
Vetting: Spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm...

We are 100% volunteer/foster based, so we do ask that you complete an adoption application in order for us to schedule a phone interview.

After reviewing your application, we'll contact you to determine if dog is a good fit for your lifestyle and home.

Approve Application
We check vet and personal references to ensure previous dogs were well cared for, so please be thorough in providing this info.

Home Check
This enables the dog to get to know you and your home and for us to suggest anything they may need to be successful in your home.

Sign Adoption Contract
You would also pay the fee at this time, however, we offer a 2 week trial period before cashing your check. We will always take dogs back.
