My story

THE PERFECT STAFFY -AND WE MEAN IT!

Meet Kiwi, a playful, sweet, and loving 2.5 year old Staffy/Boerboel mix that is about 59lbs. Despite her harsh life, prior to being rescued-she lived outside on cement and was definitely bred. This is one of the happies, bounciest, most loving dogs ever! When you meet her, the first thing she will do is roll over for a belly rub. She is good with all people and as you can tell from the video, she is good with all dogs, and just wants to play. She is currently in boarding and we desperately want to get her in a FOSTER or FOREVER home as soon as possible. This sweet girl deserves the rest of her life to be wonderful-are you the one to give Kiwi all the love, safety, and comfort she deserves? We have vaccinated and microchipped Kiwi and we plan to spay her as soon as possible.

This is a joint rescue between our rescue, The Forgotten Dog Foundation, and our rescue partner, Big Love Animal Rescue.

Why adoption is a great option

Kiwi, a Santa Monica American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
