Chuckie is a handsome 9-month-old boy who weighs around 25 pounds. Chuckie has a familiar story…taken from his litter too soon and purchased by someone who worked full time and kept Chuckie in a bathroom all day. He will need an experienced adopter who will be able to work with Chuckie and continue teaching him good pack manners.

Chuckie has good house manners and has rarely had an accident in the house. He has been in homes with and without a dog door. For a young boy, he is good about limiting himself to chewing on hoofs and the stray stick he finds! He loves to play but can be a bit of a bully. When a pup is taken from the litter too soon, they never learn not to bite hard. He is getting better during his wrestling matches but will do best with a canine companion who is not a push over!

Chuckie can be loving and enjoys a good cuddle, but has a stubborn streak that makes him defiant when told No. He will need someone who can be firm with him and let him know who the alpha of the pack is! He would not do well in a home with young children. Apply only if you are an experienced beagle owner.
