My story

My name is Heisenberg! Despite the German name the only German word I can woof is Guten Tag! So I’ll have to tell you all about myself in English.. I live in North Dakota and the lovely people at Save the Dals are flying me to San Diego to start a new life. I’m so excited, mainly because it will be warm. When I get there I don’t want to go into boarding. I’d like to find a family who will take me to fun places, help me make friends and give me a loving home. I know I like cats and kids. Too, I'm six years old. To find out more about me or to meet me, please contact the folks at Save the Dals.

Why adoption is a great option

Heisenberg - Adopted, a Southern CA Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian for sale in Southern CA, or seeking a Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Southern CA.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southern CA already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southern CA breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian breeders who help with Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southern CA paves the way for another one to be saved.
