My story

Handsome little Smudge looked like a little smudge of ash when he was brought into rescue with his siblings. But, he's a beautiful little boy now, with gorgeous gray fur and adorable eyes. This playful, loving little guy is just waiting for you to take him home and cuddle him and play with him! He would do best in a home with either a sibling, or another young, playful cat to keep him entertained. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heart worm.

Adoption fee is $175, or two for $300, a savings of $50.

If interested in any of our adorable kitties, please fill out the application on our website, www.southmittenskittens.com. Questions? Please email southmittenskittens@gmail.com

Additional adoption info

We have a three page adoption application, which includes permission to do vet checks, question landlords, etc. We have a contract that must be filled out and signed by both adopter and rescue representative, stating that adopters will not declaw the cat or kitten, and will not allow them to be free roaming outdoors. Our adoption fee, at the time of this registration, is $150, which includes full vetting.

Go meet their pets

Our cats are all in foster homes that allow potential adopters to meet their foster kitties. We, also, have adoption events every other weekend.

More about this rescue

We are a small cat rescue. We save as many as we can. It is our life's passion to do what we do. You have to be strong and you have to be able to say no at times. You have to be smart about how many you take in, to make sure that the ones that you have get the best of care.
