Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Good-looking Apollo just turned one year old and would do well with an active household. He does great with older children and other dogs. We think he would do well with cats. This athletic boy loves playing with toys, running around the yard, playing with other dogs, or hanging out in the yard with his foster family.
Apollo was a Redwood Pals puppy. His purebred German Shepherd mama came into the County shelter quite pregnant. One of our great fosters took her home to give her a good place for bringing her pups into the world. These are some lovely dogs! DNA said dad was a lab mix..
Unfortunately, Apollo's owner's circumstances changed dramatically and he is back with us. He is smart and good-natured and will thrive in a home where he can continue his training and get a chance to get out for some fun! Apollo has some obedience under his belt and has recently been training with a head halter, as he continues his obedience training. He wants to please!
He loves to play with other dogs and is respectful of his current playmate, letting her dictate the play. Currently in an RPR kennel, we are looking for either a foster or adoptive home.
Apollo has had his initial puppy vaccine series. He will be scheduled for a neuter in the near future.
