My story

This sweet boy came to us as a newborn with his mother and 8 siblings, and was adopted at 12 weeks of age. Three months later, he was found abandoned in Conroe. He was emaciated and his feet had splayed (unknown reason), but was still the happy, playful pup we knew.
He has now gained weight and has been neutered. Best of all, this sweet boy is heartworm negative. We are looking for a loving home for him with a fenced yard he can run in, children to play with, and loads of love. He also needs to work on manners (jumping, leash pulling)
He loves to play with the other dogs at the rescue. He is kennel trained. If you are the home for him, please apply and make his life a happy and fulfilled one.

More about this rescue

Our primary mission is to provide for heartworm testing, preventatives, and treatment for rescue dogs and we take in animals who've been found abandoned and the finder is unwilling to take them to a high kill shelter, and no or low kill shelters are unable to help due to lack of room. We find someone in the area willing to foster the animal and we pay for all vetting, vaccinations, sterilizations, and heartworm testing. Occasional owner surrender is considered on a case by case basis.
