Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are looking for a special home for our Daisy. You must be very patient, compassionate and understanding. You must be willing to give her time to re-adjust to her new home and continue to work with her on the things she’s fearful of.
Daisy is a 2 year old, 12 lb Dachshund/mix. She came to us on 4/12 pretty terrified and we’ve made a lot of progress but she still cannot be leashed or picked up. It seems she fears not knowing your intentions.
Daisy is not the super clingy type but does enjoy sitting in a lap sometimes and always snuggles up close in bed at night. She’s dog friendly but does best with calm dogs; those who don’t try to engage in play or get in her face.
She loves chewing bones, chasing her pesky tail, perching on the top of the couch cushions and burrowing under blankets.
She’s spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations and housebroken.
Daisy will need a low-key home with a fenced yard and without children under the age of 12.
If you think you’re the right fit for Daisy please send us an email inquiry. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PHONE CALL INQUIRIES.
She’s being fostered in Wesley Chapel, FL. Our travel time for home checks/adoptions must not exceed 1 hour.
