Mr. Big is quite the love- his goal is to be near you as much as he can. He also loves playing with little furball toys and his own tail. He’s a great nap buddy and will drape his head or come over to you to nap with you. He comes running every time his foster mom opens the door to the room and enjoys being picked up. Mr. Big loves to play! He’s enamored with other cats and loves to play chase with his sister. He runs to people as soon as they’re around and loves to rub on your legs. He also loves to be picked up and will sit up on his hind legs if he really wants your attention. He loves to sleep up against your legs, and thinks it is a lot of fun to chase your toes under the blankets. He is entirely unconcerned with big dogs and gives a gentle confident warning when he’s had enough. He loves to be on the top of the cat tower, or to bat at your feet from under the bed. He’s also super social and warms up to new people quickly.

Carrie and Mr. Big are very bonded- they’ll each cry for the other if separated. They play well together and enjoy napping together. Both are eating well (and neatly, even!) and using their litterbox perfectly. Mr Big in particular is very particular in making sure everything is covered up.

Tailchaser Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from shelters where they are in danger. Our foster volunteers provide loving temporary homes for our rescued animals until they are adopted.

By adopting a cat or dog, you're making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the animal, which can be up to 20 years or more! We are committed to placing our rescued animals with families who are prepared for the responsibility of owning an animal for its entire lifetime, so that they are never again at the mercy of the shelter system.

More about this rescue

Tailchaser Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill, animal rescue organization based out of the Bay Area, CA, dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs (and sometimes more) from shelters where they are in danger. We believe in removing barriers to adoption and educating pet owners and potential adopters about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spay / neuter, positive behavior training and good nutrition. We are a foster-home-based organization and we do not have a shelter or physical location that adopters can visit. All of our rescued animals are cared for by volunteer foster families in their homes. This allows us to get to know the animals better, and helps us assess what type of home environment they will do best in.
