If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they're available through the Rehome program - the safe, reliable, and free way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We got Posey from the shelter, a little orange kitten, in 2010 after the Giants won the world series. My son was 7 at the time, so Posey has always been around kids. Posey is hands down the most affectionate people loving cat I've ever known. He is a super snuggler and loves to engage with any and every human who comes to our house.
Unfortunately it's other pets he has a problem with. I have to keep him separated at all times from my other cat. I've tried everything possible suggested by a cat behaviorist, but no matter what I've tried, he will start a fight if they come in contact. Both cats are indoor/outdoor and my house is large enough where I can keep them separated. But I have to move and there's no chance I will continue to have a home conducive to this very taxing scenario.
It's breaking my heart to let him go, but I'm hoping there's a home out there where Posey can be king of the castle and not have to share space and your affections with other pets.
