Welcome Hickory to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Lab mix puppy and we think it may be with a smooth Coated Collie. He is about 4 months old. He came in from one of the local animal controls that had him and his sister Cypress on the Euthanasia list. CCPAL stepped up for he and his sister Cypress. He is great with other dogs and gets to run with dogs smaller and larger than he is. He is a little more social than his sister Cypress. He is young, smart and ready to learn the ropes in his new home. He comes when you call and can play off leash. He would also be fine in a family with kids. We like them to be 8 or older. He is good in his black wire crate. He is getting his vaccines here at the rescue and will be neutered and ready for his new forever home soon. He could be adopted locally in Texas. We could also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all Along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
