My story

MARLEY (A047549) is a neutered male blue-eyed white fuzzy lop mix rabbit. He was about 6 months old when he arrived at the shelter in April 2022. Marley came in stained with urine, but his fur is slowly going white as he sheds. Marley is a friendly boy that doesn't mind some snuggles. He is inquisitive but he's also into lounging, so you're more likely to see him kicking his legs out with his eyes half-closed. He is used to being handled with older children. Marley has good litter box habits and will make a fun addition to a family with an indoor home and lots of love to give!

All rabbits are current with their RHDV2 vaccinations.

Why adoption is a great option

MARLEY, a San Clemente Lionhead other was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in San Clemente, or seeking a Lionhead other from a breeder in San Clemente.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Clemente already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Clemente breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Clemente paves the way for another one to be saved.
