My story

I’m just a wild 1 yr old learning what it’s like to live in a house, meet people and play with dogs. I might be part shepherd, part border collie, part little black dog but I’m definitely smart and wanting to devote myself to someone. I get excited and jump on my foster but I’m learning off and I know sit, down, and tummy rubs. I use the dog door and go outside. I spent much of my life in a crate and never got walked. I was afraid to come out. But now I like having freedom, attention, and I can be trusted in the house. I want to find my forever family to share life together. Are you ready? Submit your app.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee helps us to re-coop expenses for the animals medical expenses and each adopter must compete an application form on our website at www.havendogrescue.org before meeting the pet. We also do a home check prior to signing an adoption contract.

Go meet their pets

All of our pets are in foster care. We are all volunteers and we are happy to arrange meetings for serious adopters. If you are interested in one of our animals, please submit an application form and a member of the rescue will call you to arrange a meetings.

More about this rescue

We want to make an impact on the countless number of animals euthanized each year. We aim to assist our community in rehoming and rehabilitating dogs and cats so they can become part of a new family.
