Bahama Mama came to Mountain Pet Rescue in February of 2022 and gave birth to 6 puppies who have now all been adopted!
She is currently living in a foster home with dogs of all sizes, and cats, all of whom she enjoys. Her favorite activities include snuggling in bed with her human, exploring outside and playing with her doggie foster siblings. Bahama Mama can be shy at first, and may give a bark or two when new people enter her home, but she can be quickly won over with treats and patience.
Bahama Mama is spayed (yay, no more babies for her!), vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea preventatives. Her adoption fee is $250 and you can apply to meet her at MPRAVL.org!
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
