This handsome fella is Habanero aka Haby! He's a 10 week old Terrier mix and is the biggest of the litter at about 16 pounds. Haby arrived at Wish Bone with his 4 siblings. They vary a lot in size and we don't know their exact breed mix, so we aren't sure what to expect as they grow. We anticipate he will be medium-large when full grown.
Haby is such a good little boy. His foster reports that he has had very few accidents in the house and he sleeps all night in his crate. Haby gets along with his human, canine, and feline foster siblings! He is a super sweet pup and loves to lay in his foster mama's lap for all the pets.
While he gets along great with the kids, he does have tons of puppy energy and he is still working on "paws on the ground." Due to his activity level, his foster thinks he will do best with kids over the age of 5 years old.
A fence is not required, but Haby would sure love one - especially since he is not fond of the leash an he loves the freedom of running around to play in the yard.
If you think Habanero might be a good addition to your pack, apply today! His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
