URGENT FOSTER Needed!!

This handsome hound is about a year to a year and a half old. He weighs 65 pounds. We think he is a redbone coonhound or possibly a shiller hound or some mix of hound dogs! He's got the sweetest, silliest personality. He loves squeaky toys. He's great with humans and big and small dogs and seems to ignore cats. He's house trained (but might leg lift in new environment) and crate trained.
His biggest issue is he's a little shy and he's scared of being on leash and freezes like a statue when you want him to move. He was living in a field and had to be trapped, so it is not super shocking that he prefers life without a leash. He is very food motivated, so that helps and he will let you pick him up if he needs to be moved. LOL He will definitely need some work on that, but he's gotten used to a collar so he can get used to a leash! He also would do best in a home with another dog because he takes cues from the other dog.

Currently in need of new foster in So Cal or can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $250 includes neuter, core vaccines (DAPP and rabies), microchip, access to training videos. You must complete an application before we are able to accommodate any request for a meet and greet.
