My story

I'm a busy boy. If I didn't get so busy and have to take a nap sometimes, I could play and wrestle all day. It's a good thing I had my sister and foster sister to play with. When one of them gets tired of me, the other steps in. I'm a little shy for a few minutes with new people and furry friends but give me a minute and I'm ready to play. I'm very determined and I give everything 100%. I'm the best at playing, eating, and sleeping. My foster mom is really impressed with how me and my sister go potty outside 90% of the time. I am still just a pup, after all. Foster mom calls me "Timber", "Tim", "Tubber", and "lover boy". I really like the ladies and they love me.

Why adoption is a great option

TIMBER, a Westminster Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Westminster, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Westminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
