My story

Morgan is a young small (45 pounds) brindle pit mix. She came into rescue with her eight large puppies. This is what we've learned since she has been in foster care. Morgan is housebroken with good manners inside. She is crated when left for a long period due to her age. She gets excited when meeting people and will jump to reach for the affection. We're still working on that but she gets so happy. She's getting very good on leash since getting out more to explore the neighborhood. She will be good with dogs with a slow introduction. Morgan is living with a male Great Dane and is very respectful of his food and toys. She loves to chase rabbits and birds so will not be placed in a home with cats, birds or small animals. Morgan would be great at keeping critters out of your gardens. She can also be an only pet as she loves people. Morgan's dream home is with her people home more often than not. Older children will be fine. A well mannered canine to show her the ropes but not necessary. A yard to explore and bask in the sun. Morgan will be spayed before adoption but meet and greets can be scheduled any time we find a good match. She is located in Reno. If interested in Morgan, please fill out an adoption application at www.tahoewarf.org and you will be contacted.August 1, 2022, 7:38 pm

We have a network of foster homes where the animals reside while waiting for adoption. Our website is kept updated with adoptable animals. We are building a sanctuary which will house adoptable animals and permanent residents. On occasion we do adoptions at various locations. Check our website or Facebook for details.
