My story

Alpine is being fostered in PA

Alpine would do best with a fenced yard and another active dog to play with, if you have those, please read below:

Alpine is an amazing girl! She's crate trained and house trained and is completely trustworthy in the house. She really enjoys snuggles on the couch and loves her humans. She also loves to be outdoors, but could use some more leash training. Alpine gets along with cats, kids and dogs of all sizes. She's a pretty relaxed dog and doesn't require a whole lot of exercise. She is considered blind and deaf but has no problems getting around, and steps are not an issue for her. She's so so sweet!:)
BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Why adoption is a great option

Alpine adoption pending!, a Madison Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever for sale in Madison, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
