Garfield Young is a lovely kitty, found as a stray in a small mountain town. He spent some time boarding at the local Vet office while a foster home was being found. He has been taken in by the local Humane Society and is now safe in a foster home. No owner can be found and the Humane Society is reaching out to the Rescue to help him find a new family, a new home. He's very social and loving and is living with other cats in the foster home. During his time boarding at the Vet, a very sick kitten came into the Vet. The little baby was dying from blood loss to flea infestation. Garfield Young became a blood donor and saved that baby's life. He is a hero! Garfield Young's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. The first step in our process is to submit an application for review. Once approved, we will contact you to arrange a meeting at our next Meet and Greet event. Our pets are fostered in private homes and will be brought to Frederick, MD to meet approved adopters.
