My story

Asha is a sweet floof of a girl. She is a nice mix of playful and cuddly. She gets along well with the other kitties and the dogs in her foster home. She may be a bit vocal, initially, as she settles in to her new home. Asha loves wand toys and enjoys chasing a ball around a track toy at her foster home. Asha loves people and has done well with older children who have visited her foster home. Her foster dad says she's the "perfect cat!" Do you need some floofy fun in your life? Asha's the girl for you!

Home recommendation:

- Independent enough to be an only kitty but also enjoys playing with others
- Other kitties in household should be tolerant of a settling in phase
- Would likely do well with children

Why adoption is a great option

Asha, a Walla Walla Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Walla Walla, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Walla Walla.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walla Walla already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walla Walla breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walla Walla paves the way for another one to be saved.
