Stella is looking for a family of her own!
Located in Greer, SC area with her foster, but will transport to her perfect family.
From Stella's Foster Mom:
"The vet thinks she is about 6 years old, but he said it’s hard to tell since her teeth are worn done to the gum line. We think she wasn’t abused, but definitely neglected. I believe she may have some vision and hearing difficulties. She is not potty trained, but we are working on it. She also doesn’t walk on the leash very well. She will walk, but only when she wants to. She seems to be healthy. She is good with other dogs and doesn’t seem to be interested in cats. She still has issues coming into the house. She must have not been allowed in the house, because she will not cross the threshold. But, she is making progress every day. She will tear up things if she is not supervised. She also snores and makes the cutest piggy noises at times. We feed her twice a day, and she will let you know when it’s time! She went to live with her new family two weeks ago, but they sent her back after 5 days. It was not because she was a bad dog, it was because the lady didn’t know how much responsibility it was to have a dog. Apparently, she never had a dog before; only cats. I want for her to go to a home that allows her to be an inside dog. Please pass this info to everyone you can. We need to find her a good home. She is the sweetest dog. I would keep her, but 3 dogs is too many for us. Plus, the expenses would be too much. "
We estimate Stella is about four years old. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and has the option to begin training with The Dog Wizard once she is placed in her permanent home. Because of this training, Stella can attend free weekly support/maintenance classes at any Dog Wizard location in the country. She is a very low maintenance dog and does not need training to be a calm and easy dog, but it is an option that we offer.
