Rico is a sweet boy who will cuddle with you for naps and bedtime. He has a cute and tiny high-pitched voice, and will always respond or come to you when called. He’s around 5-6 years old and would do best in a clean home with someone who doesn’t mind keeping doors closed to him while he’s unsupervised.
Rico is a territorial cat who has sporadically urinated on beds, couches, pillows, piles of clothes, rugs, bath mats, etc. over the 3.5 years I’ve had him. He has done this both as the only cat in the house, and while living with other cats. The vet received a urine sample from him in Oct. 2021, which came back negative for any health issues, so it is a behavioral problem. Having a constantly clean litter box does seem to help him avoid urinating elsewhere for a while. It had been months since his last accident, until I recently moved into a new home with other cats. I’m unfortunately unable to continue accommodating him while living in someone else’s home.
