My story

Meet Kokis!

Kokis was surrendered to the San Diego Humane Society  by his guardian who was moving and explained that he took over caring for Kokis after another family member passed away. Kokis arrived at Frosted Faces Foundation on June 8th. He is 13 years old, weighs 19 lbs., and is a gentle, well-behaved little guy. Kokis enjoys going for walks, is excellent on leash, and does well walking alongside other dogs, big or small. He rides nicely in the car, too!

Kokis went on a two-week Frosted Fling, and we learned a lot about him in a home setting. His Fling Mom reports:  "Kokis is very sweet! My two dogs are male, and he fit in seamlessly with them. He was super chill here, almost goofy. He loves to be petted and given kisses, and he will occasionally return the kiss. Kokis has no problem being handled or picked up and was kid tested. He passed with flying colors!13 is just a number for Kokis, as he loves going for multiple walks and does have a playful side. I could get him to chase me, kind of play with a ball and to play tug of war with a toy. He does take a couple long naps during they day, but he's not one to be content laying around all day.

Kokis eats well. I was able to feed the three dogs at the same time with no issues. I did buy some Fresh Pet for convenience while we were at the beach and he wasn't super excited about it, but he did eat it. Kokis does not jump on or ask to get on the furniture. He was pretty restless the first couple nights so I did put him in bed with me at night. I think he would be content sleeping on the floor once he's comfortable.

Please consider adding Kokis to your family, he is so deserving of having a family of his own. When my granddaughter met him she told me he looks like a marshmallow. His soft squishy face is irresistible!"
