My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Siren!  Isn’t she lovely?  She wasn’t always  this beautiful.  Siren arrived via Animal Control van to her foster family's house as a County investigation dog. She was underweight and covered with scabs and sores, having lived her entire life outside in the Florida elements which of course include bugs, heat, and rain all behind a fence on concrete with only a cardboard box to help protect her and her brother.  After months of medicated baths, medication to control the allergies she has developed and finally finding the right prescription food for her, all of which she will need to be on the rest of her life, this beautiful 9 year old girl is ready to find her forever home. Siren loves to be with her family either on the couch, the bed or just laying around the house.  It has been so great to see her choosing to be outside instead of being forced to be outside.

If your family would love to have a happy, talkative, active, such as walks or playing outside, yet couch potato kinda dog Siren is the perfect fit.

In her foster home she has been around multiple size and personality dogs, people and even a pet rat.  Proper introductions are always key to happy coexistence. She has been out on the town, including parks, Home Depot, pet stores and has done very well meeting people happily.  She loves going on outings and will literally bounce in the backseat of the car with excitement.

Siren is UTD on shots, spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. She has not been introduced to cats or small children and we do not recommend. Let's give her a great "rest of her life"!!

*The adoption fee for this dog is $100.00 and he/she will come microchipped, neutered/spayed, up to date on all necessary vaccines/rabies, heartworm tested and dewormed. Please apply at www.4luckydogs.org.**
