My story

Meet Gander 🦆🐾 Gander is a 4month old Queensland Heeler mix. Gander is a very sweet sensitive boy. Gander is the boy who looks at you for cues on what to do next. Gander is very smart and would be easy to train because he is a quick learner and is responsive to treats and praise. Gander gets along with all dogs and loves to play, and after he loves to cuddle. Gander will need basic training and a new life partner who will continue to socialize him with new people, places and new furry friends. Gander is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and up to date on his rabies vaccine. If you are interested in Gander please fill out an application at www.broketailrescue.org, located under the contact tab.

Why adoption is a great option

Gander, a Vacaville Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
