My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! Are you looking for a wonderful cat? Well – here I am! I don’t want to sound vain, but I’m not sure my picture does me the appropriate amount of justice – I am really quite beautiful! My green eyes are brilliant and I have stunning calico coloring. Not only am I a very pretty girl - my foster mom says I’m a real sweetheart too!

I recently discovered catnip toys and there's a video! I get free roam of the foster house and I won't hog the bed when I sleep with you.

I might seem a little shy at first – but if you’re a little patient with me, I am working hard at getting used to new things! I firmly believe that there’s no such thing as too much petting and I want to learn how great it is to cuddle up for a movie night! Lounging in front of a fan – a nice soft bed, treats and food are all items that are high on my “top ten” list. (Did I mention that I’m not a fussy eater? I like pretty much any kind of food!)

I’m proficient at using my litter box and my scratching post. I’m spayed, microchipped and my health has been vet approved! I haven’t been around dogs or other cats a whole lot, but to be honest, I think siblings of either type (especially the canine variety) might be overrated. Actually, I wouldn’t mind being an “only child” – with all of my family’s attention saved especially for me! If I must adapt to a sibling – I could consider another kitten or cat – if he or she would give me a little time to adjust and realize that they are not the boss of me!

I am going to be a great companion for someone! I am looking forward to meeting my forever family and will love them as much as I hope they will love me!

Bella is estimated to be one year old and 6-7 lbs. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 100 mile radius of Minneapolis. If you are interested in meeting this kitty please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
