We rescued Lila from the humane society back in September 2021. She was neglected by her previous owner.
The problem we have is that she’s very resource protective. She’s fine and sweet and loving with my girlfriend and I, but when other people come to the house, she gets very anxious and nervous with whining and barking. She’s even snapped at people before, but we recognized this behavior very early on and always had her leashed and harnessed so we could control her. She has never bitten anyone. We have learned that she gets the most upset when people she’s unfamiliar with go near her things: toys, food, bed, and especially my girlfriend and I.
The reason we need to rehome her is because we don’t have the time or resources to give her the training she needs. Ideally, we’re looking to rehome her to someone who can spend more time with her than we can, and who won’t have a lot of guests coming and going. Running out of characters, message me for more information please.
