My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey guys, I am Heidi. Yes, probably named after the German top model, I mean look at me....But my ancestry is actually not German, but Belgian. Yes, I know, totally confusing, both two countries in Europe an ....However, unlike German Shepherds, as a Belgian Malinois my coat isn't as long and I am a little more lightweight. What we have in common, however, is that we are super intelligent and easy to train. I don't want to brag, but my foster mom thinks, I am VERY smart and learn new commands really quick. Because I am so smart, I get easily bored and need a lot of stimulation. An ideal day for me starts of with a long walk, followed by some free play in a big enclosed yard and some fun time with a furry friend and after some down time and training, repeat, please! By the way, I LOVE all my foster siblings and can't think of anything better than wrestling or herding them in the yard!!! Small animals like birds and cats, however, they are prey. I know, I know, it's a cruel world....I have not encountered any kids yet, so I can't say whether I would find them lovable or annoying. My foster mom is working on that though, she said she'll take me to Petco and we'll find us some smalls, so we'll keep you posted 🙂 And while it's almost insulting to talk about it, of course, I am potty and crate trained, I mean, I mentioned I am than more just good looking. Sooo, if you want to meet me , let's do this -- but one last thing: I am not a starter dog. Yes, I know, I sound too good to be true, but keep in mind that a girl like me has high standards and only an experienced dog mom or dad can live up to those!
