Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Snow, a very pretty Great Pyrenees (Mix) who recently joined us from McHenry Animal Control. She is a very sweet girl, and playful as well. We are looking for a foster, or ideally a foster-to-adopt for Snow.
Snow is a very typical Great Pyrenees with behaviors very typical of the breed. She is good with other dogs...with proper introduction of course! But we are not sure about cats. Her playfulness might be too much for smaller children.
Snow appears to possibly have some food aggression but an experienced foster/adopter should readily be able to manage this by crating Snow for meals, if another dog is eating as well.
We are looking for an experienced Great Pyrenees parent / family to foster or preferably adopt this adorable girl. She is located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago and we prefer to adopt local to the area if possible.
Snow is estimated to be just 1 year old, and weighs about 78 lbs.
She is already fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. We do expect she will need a little training to evolve into the perfect pup that we know she can become.
If you are experienced with the breed and interested/able to foster Snow, please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com of 847-852-0895 for an application and further information.
