My story

Domestic Medium Hair – Black
Male
2 ¾ years
16 pounds
Hi! My name is Noche. My caretakers at RCHS would describe me as being in the ORANGE category. Cats in the ORANGE category have the potential to be timid or nervous when first settling in. They would be best for adopters who previously had a cat and are willing to give a cat time and space to gain confidence. Usually, cats in this category take less time to become comfortable than those in the purple category.
Cats are assigned color categories using any previous owner notes, general handling, as well as staff and volunteer observations. As we continue to get to know the cats and gather further insights into their personalities, colors may be adjusted accordingly.

If interested in adopting Noche, an adoption survey and instructions can be found on our website.

Why adoption is a great option

Noche, a Encinitas Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Encinitas, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Encinitas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encinitas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encinitas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encinitas paves the way for another one to be saved.
