My story

Hello, I'm Mason. I am a sweet lovable bundle of fluff. I have a great personality. I love everyone. I am very outgoing and playful. I came in with my best friend Hershey and we have to stay together. We were surrendered because of a landlord saying no pets. So here we are.. waiting for you to come and give us our forever homes. We have both been to the vet and now have a clean bill of heath. The only thing is that I have to be on a special Kidney diet food for now. I will be retested in a few months to see how I am doing. Please come and meet myself and my roomy soon and you can see for yourself how great we are. See you soon.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application and go through an interview. Our adoption facilitators walk them through the shelter and help them find the perfect animal that would best match their homes. After a potential adopter signs up for a specific animal, there is a cool-down period.

We do veterinarian reference checks and follow-up telephone calls on Mondays to make sure the potential adopters are still interested. After the telephone interview has taken place, a home visit is set up and the selected animal is delivered to it's new home.

Our adoption fees are $85 for one cat or kitten and $130 for two cats or kittens. The adoption fee includes various procedures which have already been performed, such as:

Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency virus tests
Distemper shots
Rabies Booster
Preventative Dewormer
Spay or neuter for all cats at least 6 months of age or older
An adoption folder complete with an "Animal Health Log Sheet" containing the cat's health history.

Under no circumstances do our animals leave the shelter the same day they are signed up for.

Happy Endings is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), no-kill organization run solely by volunteers who have been saving lives since 1994. It is the mission of Happy Endings to find permanent homes for unwanted, stray, abused or feral animals that are brought to us or rescued from the street.
