Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Cowboy
Who is looking for their own side kick for the upcoming summer? Cowboy is the perfect match to rope his way into your heart! He's a 9 month old mixed breed lab and is he's going to be a large dog; right now he's tipping the scales at almost 80 pounds and still has some growing to do.
This sweet boy was pulled from a small town shelter when he was 4 months old and now he's ready for a family of his own. His foster mom tells us that he is energetic and great with other dogs and children (Cowboy is often found playing tug of war on the floor with his 8 year old human foster brother). He knows 'sit' and loves to be on a leash, although he needs a patient owner to help him with his leash walking skills.
Cowboy's got some growing to do as his paws are huge! He is still in the puppy stage and needs gentle correction when he's playing too rough. He's been around two foster siblings and loves the company of another dog. He is very social and many times doesn't know how big he is!
During the day he stays in the kennel, but at night and when his foster humans are home, he is able to roam the house and sleeps on a big dog bed next to his foster mom. He is potty trained and crate trained and ready for his fur-ever home!
Cowboy is potty trained and kenneled trained, has all of his vaccines, is neutered and microchipped. If you think Cowboy is your families missing part please apply to adopt at Luckylabrescue.com
