My story

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!

Aspen is a pretty 4 month old, 16 lb female Terrier/Lab mix puppy ready to meet her new family. Aspen is a happy, fun, sweet girl that will thrive in a family of her own.  She is a smart puppy, and will take to learning about the leash and house training quickly.
Aspen is good with other dogs, children and adults, and takes treats gently from your hands.  She enjoys playing with toys and chewies too, and is not shy about seeking your attention!
Aspen would love to go to puppy classes with her new family, it’s a great way to bond and learn together.
Her adoption fee is $450. and includes her spay, current vaccinations and microchip.  To follow Aspen on her way to a loving family on SPOT's Facebook page, visit  https://facebook.com/spotsavespets/

Additional adoption info

SPOT adopts puppies less than 1 year- $450, dogs 1-8 yr- $300, 9 yr- $200. Our kittens are $150 up to 6 months. $125- 6 months to a year. $100 one year or older unless otherwise noted. We often have low pricing during kitten season. We ask you to complete an adoption application. A home check will be scheduled to be sure there are no inadvertent dangers in your home or yard. A meet and greet will be arranged so that your whole family can meet your new pet before adopting him/her. We want to make sure it is a good fit since it is a commitment for the animal’s lifetime.

More about this rescue

SPOT was created to fill the need to save animals who “fall through the cracks” in our sheltering system. Local shelters are overwhelmed—they receive so many strays and owner turn-ins that they run out of space and have to kill thousands of animals each year. The majority of these animals are healthy and simply need to be placed into a home. Others are medical cases which require some work, but do not have life-threatening diseases or injuries. And a few have some moderate behavior issues; we work with specialists to correct these behaviors before finding them their forever home. The bottom line is SPOT can save these lives.
