Loki is a beautiful, velvet soft, domestic medium hair black kitten with a white crest at his neck and a fabulous white speedo. He was taken in to a local shelter as a stray and spent time as an only kitten, so he is still learning to not pretend he wants to murder everyone in the house (*Typical single kitten behavior*). He isn't mean, just has little man syndrome and wants everyone to know how big and tough he is. When his foster pulled him from the shelter, he was dancing in his cage, making super fast Loki-biscuits, meowing and begging everyone to pick him up! He is the absolute loudest purr-er ever to fall from the skies of Asgard! He is a sweet little boy who just wants to snuggle! Truly.

We will check 2 personal references and a vet reference. If there is a landlord, we will verify you can have pets in your complex.

Lucky Tales requires a home visit in which we will most likely bring the pet with us, to meet you in your home

After the home visit is approved and complete, you will fill out and sign an adoption contract and will pay the adoption fee.

2. Our Adoptions Committee will review your application to ensure a good fit both for the dog and your family. We will also check your personal references as well as your vet reference. If you haven't done so already, please call your vet to give permission for your records to be released to us.
3. Once we have reached all of your references, we will be in touch with you to schedule a home visit/meet and greet! This part of the process is to ensure that the dog is the best fit for your family! Also, if you have other pets, this gives us the opportunity to observe how they react to one another!
4. If all goes well with the home visit, we will finalize the adoption!!
Please note that we do not do trial adoptions--we promote a lifelong adoption with the dog and family. Therefore we want to ensure that it is a proper placement from the start. We do understand that things come up, which is why we promise to support you through this process and after the adoption.
Our adoption fees are $200.00 for adult dogs and $250.00 for puppies.
No refunds on adoption fees.
