Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Streeter
One year old

12 pounds
terrier, min Pin mix
House trained
Found in the street with multiple injuries and a broken right front leg that required amputation, sweet and snuggly Streeter is not only recovering but thriving!
Most content in the company of his foster mom or curled up on a cozy dog bed, he loves cuddling with her, and especially enjoys having his ears and belly rubbed. He gets along easily and well with the other dogs, and although he hasn’t yet started playing with toys, he’s begun showing some interest in them.
Sitting calmly as his foster mom attaches his leash for their long, evening walks, he tends to pull when he wants to say “hi” to another dog, and while he’s friendly towards most of the people they pass, he’s understandably frightened by the scooters and motorcycles whizzing past and reacts by barking at them. Remarkably, though, he nimbly navigates the three flights of stairs to her apartment, ending their evenings, quite literally, on a high note.
Fond of car rides if the window’s open or he’s seated up front next to his foster mom, he’s motivated by love and food, and being very bright and most eager to please, already knows “sit,” “wait”, “let’s go,” and “go to bed” – at which point he calmly enters his crate. Sometimes he’ll “sit” near his foster mom in the hopes of being petted since he knows “sitting” is good! Even better than pets, though, are treats: including Pure Bites, Barkbox treats, almond butter Kongs, Bully sticks and Greenies dental treats, which he accepts very gently.
Now that this sociable sweetheart has been given a second chance at LIFE, he hopes to spend it in a loving home that will continue assisting in his recovery and complete his commands while keeping him both active and adored -- fur-ever.
Streeter is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Streeter, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly.
