My story

Hi! My name is Penelope! I am a female pit mix around 3 years old and weigh roughly 55lbs. I was originally found near Kuban Road and HWY 548 in Rockwall on 06/13/22 and never reclaimed. I am a very sweet girl but can be shy at first. If you have other pets, a meet and greet is suggested. I walk well on a leash but will need more time with basic training. I have been looking for my furever home for 473 days (as of 09/29/23) and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am spayed, current on my rabies vaccination as well as my basic boosters, microchipped and heartworm negative. Come by and meet me today!

All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.

Dogs are tested for heartworms (if old enough), spayed/neutered, microchipped, given DHLP-P and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $125.

Cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given FVRCP-PN and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $75.
