Dixie is a gorgeous 1 year old hound who came from a kill shelter a few months ago. She is friendly and sweet and would do really well with someone who is retired or works from home. She seems to have some separation anxiety, so we sought out a trainer to seek help for her. She really just likes to be around her people, and with more confidence and consistency, she will realize she isn’t being abandoned. She would need a strong owner who can teach her how to trust.

I will email them an application to fill out online, or they can click the link on our Facebook page.The application is then submitted.

Interview
We interview the potential adopters, call their vet reference, and call 2 personal references to check.

Home Check
We either will go to their home or have a zoom call with them to check our their living space.
4.
Approve Application
If all the references check out and the home check is good, we then will approve the application.
5.
Meet the Pet
The potential adopters will then meet the animal to see if it's a good fit
6.
Sign Adoption Contract
they then will sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee
7.
Take the Pet Home
they will then go home with their adopted pet
