My story

Rusty Takes a little time to warm up to people, but once he does he purrs all the time. He Is a very active little boy that enjoys zooming around, chasing his siblings and playing with all the toys in the kitten room. He loves to be petted and purrs very loudly. OH Rusty loves to talk and will walk around meowing. Rusty loves his head and tummy rubbed. He will need a home that has another cat or kitten. Rusty would do best in a quiet home with well-behaved older kids and adults.

All kittens reside in fosters home and are not kept at the actual shelter. They have been wormed, FeLV tested, and have had at least their first distemper vaccine. The adopter is responsible for all remaining vaccines. Spay/Neuter and microchipping is included in the adoption fee.

Contact kittens@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or call 610-432-2532 ext 4 for more info about Rusty and the adoption process. Potential adopters will need to complete an application and provide proof of vet care/vaccinations and spay/neuter for other animals living in the home. If you rent please also provide a copy of your rental agreement showing pet allowance. Please bring your own carrier.

Why adoption is a great option

Rusty, a Whitehall Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Whitehall, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Whitehall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whitehall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whitehall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whitehall paves the way for another one to be saved.
