Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oh handsome Jay boy! This big gorgeous boy is yet another of the many dogs who was neglected and ended up in the shelter system in Louisiana. His fate was doomed, till NYSRR stepped up. Of course, like many abandoned and neglected dogs in the South - this boy was positive for heartworm and went through the long process of being cured (4 months following American Heartworm Society Protocol). He is now ready for his new home. He gets along well with other dogs. He is approximately 4 years old and is crate trained. Is a big boy who enjoys long country walks. Please consider adopting him by filling out our online application at NYSRR.com
NYSRR is a small rescue located on Long Island. Our vets, trainers, volunteers, and fosters are located here, which is why we typically adopt to families within a 60 mile radius of Long Island.
If this applies to you, and you would like to be considered to adopt, please begin by filling out our online application at NYSRR.COM
