Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hakuna matata, friends. My name is Liam and I'm a 4 year old little lion, okay maybe not a full lion, but I'm as big, beautiful and as graceful as one. My fur is long, luscious and beautiful now. I came into Finally Home in kind of rough shape and the vet had to shave my neck to help some neck wounds to heal. I was found as a stray before I came to Finally Home, and because of this I have something called FIV+, but I don't let that stop me. I'm a big, dominant boy who thinks he's the king of the jungle. But I'm just as sweet as can be. I get along with my foster siblings, except sometimes the other males and I bump heads because I'm the big cheese and they don't realize it. I will do best in a household with submissive kitty friends or females. All I want is attention, love and food, and I'm a happy lion. If you want to add a beautiful specimen like me to your life that is just looking for love, ask to meet me. We'll be kings of the jungle together. I'm being fostered in Hampstead, MD (Carroll Co).
Cats that are FIV+ can live with FIV- cats. FIV is transferred through deep bite wounds. As long as the cats do not get into fights involving biting, it is fine for FIV+ and FIV- cats to live together.
There are many resources on the internet to verify this information.
