This dog will be at a meet and greet event on Saturday, June 25th unless he/she is adopted prior to the event with a set up home. The event is from 12 pm to 3 pm at Palo Alto's Pet Food Express. Those interested in meeting the dog can come out to our meet and greet event. We no longer do application approval onsite. Anyone adopting has been previously approved and set up to meet prior to the event.

Adoption Fee: $600

Honor and Pride are 8-10 week old Doberman-Hound mix puppies. We expect they will be in the 60lbs range when full grown. They were rescues from the shelter. We received a call asking if we could take them in. We agreed and off to the shelter to pick them up. Both puppies are friendly and outgoing. They love to play and wrestle and will enjoy a good snuggle. They are lovable and cuddly and like to sleep close to the person. They have been pretty good and friendly from day one. They were reserved for about 5 min and then out came the puppy in them!! We will be looking for individual homes for each puppy.

The pups are very playful and energetic. They love to run and play and frolic with each other. Both aren’t timid or shy and love to be in the vicinity of their people. They aren't necessarily velcro puppies but they like to know where their people are....Sure the first few minutes they weren't quite sure what to think of the stranger but within 5 minutes they were best buds with their foster!

The puppies wake us up around 6am. They go out for potty and then inside to gorge on breakfast. Throughout the day they play, nap and chew on whatever they are allowed to. Their foster is already working on potty training so a lot of their day is going in and outside. They eat their dinner in the early evening and back at it to play and rest before bedtime.

Both puppies get along with big and small dogs. They honestly love playing with each other and can entertain each other pretty well. They like to try and play with everyone and anything.

They are typical puppies that are teething and like to chew. They are easily distracted with a toy or chew toy. The foster is taking them out hourly to housetrain them. So a lot of that foundation is being set already.

Both puppies would do great with families where someone is ready to love and spoil them. They are smart puppies and are ready to learn so families that are patient and willing to work on their puppy-ness! Both puppies have proven to be very smart and so learning will be that much easier.

We will be looking for a home that has had a dog in the last 5 years. If there are children they need to be over the age of 6.
