Meet Papi He is looking for his forever home. He was rescued in March on his last day from a local animal shelter after being an owner surrender. He lived outside on a chain staked to the ground. The neighbors Shepherd got out and attacked Papi while he was tied out. The owner surrendered him to the shelter. Papi has adjusted well to being inside. He knows he went from the outhouse to the penthouse and he is very appreciative. Stats: - Terrier mix - Neutered - 3 years old - 55 pounds - microchipped - UTD on vaccines and heartworm prevention meds Here is what my foster mom says about me: * House trained * Total cuddle bug and coach potato * Calm, Soft, and sweet gentle spirit * Crate trained at night * Does not have separation anxiety * Listens well when called and knows "sit * Doesn't jump up on people * Loves all people * Treat motivated * Walks good on a leash * Enjoys car rides * Gets along great with his foster sister * Likes to ride on the lawn mower * Barks at the felines when he goes to the vet, so probably would be better off in a home without cats My foster mom has a lot of great things to say about me. She tells everybody what a really good boy I am and how COOL I am. She says I am her first foster dog and she says she got really lucky being a foster mom to such a great dog. I don't know about all that. I am just little ole Papi. I know she will miss me after I get adopted, but she really wants me to have a fantastic life with a fabulous family. Would you be interested in a loyal companion and giving me that chance? I look forward to meeting you very soon. Love, Papi
