My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the most incredible guy we have named Guppy. He earned the name after he took an interest in goldfish crackers. This precious baby was found after being hit by a car with his head split open. He is definitely not letting this misfortune get him down and give up. He arrived at the shelter on 5/26. Guppy is 1 year old and weighs 45lbs. He is sweet as can be. Guppy is so very cute, very playful. Despite everything, Guppy has an amazing, positive attitude moving forward. He would like very much to show you that no matter what you experience, bad or good, you can always find a way to get through it. Guppy is a super intelligent young man as he knows simple commands such as sit when asked. He may know more and would like to have a great family to show him so much to life. Would you like to come visit Guppy and see what he has to offer? He would love very much to have that awesome home and family that he probably has been wishing for his entire life. Give him everything he wants and deserves to be able to live a long life. Don't let him spend one more day in a shelter and don't ever give up on him, Its not what he deserves. Come meet this happy baby in Run 409 and ask for ID 636717. Mr. Guppy is current on vaccines, has been neutered, will be micro chipped and heart worm tested upon adoption.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
