My story

I'm Mila, a 3-year old lowrider American Staffordshire terrier mix, medium sized (39#), female dog looking for my forever home!

I used to have a nice owner who could take care of me but he had to give me up for unexpected reasons.

I'm a bit quirky and love to tilt my head whenever you speak or interact with me, I'm really interested in what your telling me!

My coat is a beautiful dark grey with a white stripe down my face and belly.

Mila is a very sweet girl, who just didn't get the right family the first time around, but we LOVE second chances and so does Mila :) She is a goofy and happy girl and loves kids. She will make someone a great family dog! Rale, Kris and Lexi are her hb champions.

Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required. Adoption fees with transport included start at $400 higher prices for Purebred and/or highly desirable pets. Adoption application, adoption contract, return/foster agreement if dog doesn't work out in home. We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us. Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets. We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in. We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
